Holistic Nutrition is an integrative approach to diet that considers the individual's unique nutritional requirements and aims to balance physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being and may include nutritional supplements when necessary.
Holistic Nutritional Consultants counsel and collaborate with you to come up with sustainable diet and lifestyle recommendations that meet your unique nutritional needs and goals. You will learn about how whole foods can be used to improve health outcomes, prevent and manage disease, or act as an adjunctive to medical intervention. Holistic nutrition does not involve radical or fad diets. Rather, your Holistic Nutritional Consultant will work with you to make achievable changes to your diet and lifestyle, including educating you on the causes of your symptoms and the role that food can play in mitigating them.
Your Holistic Nutritional Consultant will spend time explaining why they are making individual recommendations in a way that makes you an active participant in your own health and wellbeing.
